Nets Out Now! Save Our Marine Life.

The movement to stop shark nets going back in the water off 51 beaches between Wollongong and Newcastle, as they do each year on 1 September, is growing. Come to a screening of this free and powerful documentary film narrated by Eric Bana to see why.

Off the beautiful beaches, among breathtaking coral reefs of Australia lurks a deadly and indiscriminate killer. It's thirst for blood kills 1000s each and every year. It's not sharks. It's the Government Shark Control Program.
Envoy: Shark Cull

After the film, join Greens MP and former Chair of Sea Shepherd Cate Faehrmann in conversation with environmental activist and lifestyle influencer, Laura Wells, coastal scientist and researcher, Dr Rip, and Greens candidate for Lord Mayor of Wollongong, Jess Whittaker, to discuss what’s happening in our oceans and how you can join the campaign to save our marine life.
