Big Green Bike Ride
Sunday 9 March at 10am-1pm
Celebrate cycling by joining us for a ride through the inner city bike ways with Green Senator Mehreen Faruqi and NSW MPs Jenny Leong, Jamie Parker and David Shoebridge.

Students, academics, staff and the community will be protesting to stop the Ramsay Centre degree for 'Western Civilisation'. Stand up for academic independence and against the corporate take over of university.

Real Women, Real Stories

Celebrate International Womens Day with a high tea and some wonderful women from the Living Books program. These 'Living Books' are local women from different walks of life who will share with us their life experiences and life choices. The Illawarra Womens Centre will also be offering blood sugar and blood pressure.

'Give a Dam' Film Screening

Raising the Warragamba Dam wall would destroy 65 kilometres of wilderness Rivers and inundate 4,700 hectares of the world heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park. GIVE A DAM is the grassroots community campaign to stop the destruction of the Blue Mountains national park and the over development in western Sydney from the raising of Warragamba Dam wall. This documentary showcases the spectacular landscapes under threat and the people who are trying to save it.
